Monday, May 7 2007.....Turtle Pond Publications founder Craig Hatkoff saw the Vanity Fair Cover and thought it was worth making an overture. He e-mailed the zoo. A co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, Mr. Hatkoff couldn't get awa from New York, so he invited zoo officials to join him at the festival, and negotiations were conducted in the city.
